Central to every Splash performance since its inception have been explosive dance routines: high-energy dance numbers in tribute to the top, popular entertainers of the '80s and '90s including Michael Jackson. Today, is it Kenny Wizz who lead the Splash cast in a musical tribute to the "King of Pop" by night and plays semi-pro football with the West Phoenix Warriors by day.
Every Friday evening since January, 2000, Wizz has boarded a plane for Arizona to play in the Arizona Football League's Saturday games. Every Saturday afternoon since January, Wizz has rushed from the gridiron to the airport to board a plane bound for Vegas to make it back in time to perform in Splash.
Sporting the number 21, the 6'0, 180-pound Wizz takes to the field as a corner back with the West Phoenix Warriors. On Saturday, March 18, 2000, they played their last regular season game beating the South Glendale Cowboys and paving their way to the semi-finals with an overall record of 6-4. Should his team make it through the semi-finals they will be playing in the State Championships on April 15, 2000. Even if they do not make it, Kenny has made the 2000 All-Stars South team and will be playing in the All-Stars game scheduled for April 22, 2000.
In Splash, Wizz first performs solo and then joined on stage by Beyondka, as Janet Jackson, he performs Jackson hits such as Scream, Beat It, and Jam.
