FRANK SENNES

Frank Sennes was the man responsible for the successful and brilliant productions shown at The Desert Inn. Sennes began his career while still a student in high school. During that period, he achieved the impossible by booking Rudy Vallee with his famous megaphone for a local Ohio dance.

"The Frank Sennes Agency" was well known for booking talent at the 17 most important clubs throughout the United States. Sennes proudly boasted that the possibility existed that there might be a major attraction that hadn't worked for him, but that was very slight. However, in 1950 the highlight of Sennes' career culminated in handling the grand opening of Wilbur Clark's Desert Inn. The S.R.O. (Standing Room Only) signs displayed at practically every show was a certain indication that Mr. Sennes was tops in his chosen profession.
