The opening date of the Monie Marie Motel is not presently known.
The Monie Marie Motel, lcoated at 3767 Las Vegas Blvd., South, was next to the Full Moon Motel.
The Monie Marie contained 54 soundproof rooms with blackout drapes and a choice of king or queen size beds.
Each room had individually controlled heating and cooling, as well as combination tubs and showers, a phone, and a color TV. There was a heated pool and offered free ice cubes.
The property now holds the Wolensky building next to the United Artists Showcase Theatres (Full Moon Motel).
