Jill Landess - Information supplied August 16, 2002

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Landess always knew that she wanted to be a dancer. "My mother moved to Las Vegas to dance in the 60s and it always seemed so glamorous."

She began dancing at the age of four with the John Gregory Talent Center. At 18, she made her professional debut on Hawaii Cruise Line in South Pacific and Las Vegas Live and her career as a dancer began. Bringing a world of experience to the Splash stage, Landess' credits include shows everywhere from Tokyo to Miami to Reno.

At 5'10" with blue eyes and long blonde hair, Landess was a natural choice for the role of showgirl for panache at the Lido In Paris, France, and Moulin Rouge and Enter The Night here in Vegas. Since late 1999, Landess has been performing six nights a week as both a showgirl and dancer in Splash.

Scott Brothers - Information supplied August 16, 2002

Today, the coolest new dance moves are coming out of a Pop-Lock-Break resurgence, and Splash is announcing the arrival of the leading practitioners of popping on the planet Michael and "Spider" Bob Scott. This unique dancing art form originated in Oakland, CA, in the late 1960s and early 70s and spread through the state until the media in Los Angeles picked it up and made it a nationwide phenomenon in the early 80s. The Scott Brothers, from San Diego, were the last of the "name" poppers to come out of this period and area.

Their professional debut was at San Diego Sea World's City Street where they performed for five successful years before appearing in numerous music/dance videos. Beyond working with Prince, Quincy Jones, Laura Brannigan and Carmen Electra, this dancing duo has toured the world: Australia, Japan, Mexico and Hawaii. In 1999, they were finalists on the TV program Destination Stardom with a six-time winner's appearance for which their episodes have been voted the most popular by viewers.

With popping, locking and breaking making a huge comeback throughout the world, the Scott Brothers are making a significant impact on the art of popping, as they did in Lens, France in 2002 during a European Hip-Hop convention and are sure to do so again when they appear in FOX TV Network's 30 Seconds to Fame later this year.
