Allen R. Glick is President and Chairman of the Board of Argent Corporation. This personable, young gaming czar owns and operates the Stardust, Fremont and Hacienda Hotels and Casinos. In fact, he is the only man in Las Vegas since Howard Hughes, to remain a sole proprietor of a rapidly growing casino empire. Mr. Glick's plans and dreams are reflected throughout his properties in that they are never "just good enough" but in a constant program of development with emphasis on the finest customer service.

Glick graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and the Western Reserve University Law School with a Juris Doctorate Degree. He is a member of the California and Pennsylvania State Bar Associations.

This man has seen his share of action not only in Las Vegas, but on the frontlines in Vietnam where he spent 11 months as advisor to the Vietnamese Combat Command. He was awarded The Bronze Star, the Vietnamese Medal of Honor, and the Vietnamese Service Medal and was honorably discharged as Captain.

Glick is 35 years old. His accomplishments in so few years demonstrate how much a man can achieve in such a short period of time. In his own personal life, he balances with a deep devotion to his wife, Kathy, their two children and the communities in which they live. The Glick family maintains a home in La Jolla, California, and a residence in Las Vegas.

With a personal investment of millions of dollars in Las Vegas, he is concerned both with his own properties and the development of the Las Vegas Community itself. Glick is actively involved in many local Las Vegas Civic efforts ranging from the Boy Scouts of America to the United Way. He has the singular distinction of being named "Man of the Year" by the B'nai B'rith, an honor usually reserved for state officials.

Glick has come to Las Vegas. Las Vegas will benefit from his impact for years to come.
